Treasures of the Sperrgebiet

Spectacular sunset over the 'Sperrgebiet' in the Namib Desert, as seen from the Kolmanskop Hill at Kolmanskop Ghost Town near Luderitz, Namibia.
During a recent trip to the awe-inspiring Ghost Town of Kolmanskop we had the most unbelievable sunset. Unfortunately it was all happening behind the koppie, which meant I had to get on top! A gamble, but I decided it might well be worth the effort and I ran up that koppie and reached just in time to capture this spectacle.
